![]() 10% Attack Speed - (can also be additional 5.4 Attack Damage) but I prefer attack speed due to Hyper. Also you don't have to last hit mionions to get health so it's good especially against match ups that harras you hard. ![]() Overgrowth is best of these 3 - it gives a bit health so you can live a bit longer. Also if you won't team fight too much and farm hard you can take Legend: Bloodline.Ĭoup de Grace - because this build is more like carry than tank you don't need Last Stand as much as in grasp build.īone Plating helps you especially against poke champs, but generally it's good rune cause it 'tanks' for you a bit of damage. Legend: Alacrity gives you attack speed - this is what you need as attack speed carry gnar. Triumph - I think it's best option out of these three. You don't have true damage since 9.23 but healing and bonus AD is amazing. 8 Magic Resist or 6 Armor - depends on enemy top laner and jungler.Ĭonqueror is back cause ranged champions have same amount of time to proc.5.4 Attack Damage - it gives you early game flat damage that helps you farm and poke.10% Attack Speed - (can also be additional 5.4 Attack Damage) but I prefer attack speed due to Hyper and Wit's End.Start with your E, Counter Strike, for the block and stun against your first camp. Always remember to make use of the active when you are about to engage, as the armor and MR can and will save your life. The active component on the ultimate used to be practically useless, but it got hugely buffed quite awhile back and went almost entirely under the radar. It makes you very hard to build against, and gives you free damage. The magic damage proc every 3 hits synergizes well with your passive, and the auto attack reset on your W: Empower. Your ultimate would be one of the weakest in the game if it wasn't for the amazing passive. Use it wisely, and you can save yourself from some crazy scenarios. The ability to dodge basic attacks then stun in an AOE all in one ability is just insane. This is the ability where the Jax on 3hp turns on you and destroys you if you're playing an AD champion. ![]() I love this ability and tilting people with it. It also brings more magic damage to your kit than your ultimate alone provides, which makes building against you a nightmare. Provides a useful engage in combination with your E: Counter Strike, as well as making for a great escape by hopping to a ward.Ĭan be used as an auto attack reset to stack up your passive quicker. And just recently, I came up with this build for my original bro and favorite champion: Jax. After abandoning him and getting into tryharding in ranked, I have been kind of a failiure until recently, when I realized my mistakes and started trying to improve. I mainly played normals at the time, and I never really played to get better, I played 100% to have fun. Believe it or not, I carried that game and mained Jax for a long time afterwords. My friend and I joked about how I was going to main Jax. After I had gained more experience at the game, I locked Jax one game as a joke. ![]() I played him top at around level 7, and wondered why he was so "useless". He has been my main ever since I started playig, around the time in season 5 that Bard came out. I have recently come back to playing Jax, as I took a long break from playing him. I am a mid-tier silver player currently who loves experimenting with out-of-meta picks and in general enjoys playing things other than mainstream meta picks.
